Plans & Billing
Last updated April 16, 2026
Exact pricing and image quotas for each plan are shown in the app under Plans. Pricing may vary.
How Billing Works on Shopify
Crush.pics billing is handled entirely through Shopify — there’s no separate billing account to manage. Charges appear on your regular Shopify invoice.
A few things worth knowing about how Shopify handles plan changes:
- When you upgrade to a higher plan, Shopify charges the new plan rate immediately.
- When you downgrade, the change takes effect immedietly, and you will be put on the new plan’s quota immediately.
- If you uninstall the app, billing stops at the end of the current billing period, but your access to the app will stop immediately. Your images will remain compressed and renamed when downgrading or removing the app.
Free Plan Limitations
The free plan includes a limited number of image compressions. Once you hit the limit, you will need to upgrade to compress more images. This plan is intended as a trial of the app.
Changing Your Plan
- Go to Plans in the Crush.pics dashboard.
- Select the plan you’d like to switch to.
- Confirm the change — Shopify will handle the billing adjustment automatically.
Cancelling
To cancel, simply uninstall Crush.pics from your Shopify admin under Shopify Settings > Apps. Your images will remain as they are - compressed images stay compressed.
Billing note: Shopify app charges are added to your Shopify bill for the current billing period. If you had an active paid plan at any point during that period (even for one day), the charge will still appear on your next invoice — even if you’ve already uninstalled the app.
No new charges will apply after the current billing period ends.
